To ask about jobs I can do from home?

I know IABU for asking here but never mind!

Ok so I haven't properly worked since I had my son in 2008 because I've never had a high flying career and paying childcare out of my paltry admin job wasn't worth it, I then had another child in 2014. I worked the whole of last year and up until July this year in my daughters (now old) pre school but my god child care isn't for me!!

So my kids have been back at school for 3 days and I'm going out of my mind, I cannot do this every day. I have been looking online but there is nothing I can do that will fit around the kids, I have no help from family so I need to be able to drop my kids off and pick them up. My husband works in London for himself so he needs to be there and cannot be very flexible. It's not just drop off and pick up, I need to be around for them in the holidays, not so much my son after next year when he starts secondary school but my daughter is only in year 1.

I don't need to work we are doing ok but it would be a massive help if I did earn something and money aside I'm going to go crazy stuck at home. I don't have a massive circle of friends so I'm not one to be out for coffee after school drop off every morning and I don't want to be. I feel as if I'm going brain dead!

So is there anything I can do from home? Anyone have any ideas that don't involve selling Herbalife, Tropic, Juice Plus etc?!! I thought about agency admin work but only being able to work locally 10-2pm isn't going to get me much work Hmm

All ideas welcome! Or do I just have to suck it up until my youngest is at secondary school and can get herself there and back? By then I'll be 46 and basically unemployable!!

How about doing a course in bookkeeping? Plenty of opportunities for working flexibly from home with the right skills.

In the meantime why not do some volunteering?
