AIBU to be frustrated about bills?

I am an engineer, so I don't begrudge others thinking maths are a strong suit. However, DH recently changed his mobile provider and the invoices go directly to him.

I manage all our other debts, whether standard monthly ones or debts that change from month to month.

Am I unreasonable to think that he could manage at least one debt without it becoming overdue?

I paid it yesterday - with much grumbling. We do share accounts, so it is not like I am paying his debts with my money - we share income.

He admits that he struggles with maths... but honestly, one bill?

Should I just accept that finances are too much for him, or be a bitch and leave him to suffer the consequences?

Don't you use direct debits? Have them come out as soon as you get paid and there's nothing to think about.
