I was fairly enthusiastic about Tony Blair in his earliest days (I was only 18 or so), but grew more and more disillusioned with New Labour for its sucking up to Murdoch and his tabloid agenda, to the point where I desperately longed for a more left-wing Labour leadership. I really liked Ed, but I've got serious doubts about Jezza - not least his inflexibility and some of the people he surrounded himself with.
Does this make me part of the problem and not the solution? I really worry about coming across like some privileged great lump of middle-aged mansplain.
