My son is resitting an exam at 14:30. He is very clever but falls apart in exams and rarely finishes them - he gets extra time and is certified as a slow writer.

I don't really want to go into all that.

Instead, can I please ask you to will him on, to find the answers and finish the paper? Please just ask the universe to give him and his confidence a break!

14:30 and it goes on for 2.5 hours!

2 paracetamol and a Mars as my driving instructor advised me. Pc to keep temp down if stressed and mars for an energy boost...

You learn something new everyday!

It is not slow writing as in not being quick, it is a processing issue - brain spiraling and hand not able to operate. It is a significant issue and I had not heard of it. To compound matters, he has "lost" time in exams - 30 mins can pass and he experiences it as 30 seconds. It is very strange, I know, but after rigorous testing, it is real.

Thank you for the added positive vibes! He is 30 mins in now. I am going to go and get him something nice for dinner for when he eventually get home tonight.

Hope I can drive with everything crossed!

Well, it is done! Better than last time, but still ran out of time. He is not telling much more. Results in 2 weeks.
