AIBU? To ask for your WhatsApp fails?

Hi, producer Amanda here.
Someone has just told me that a picture of an intimate area was accidentally posted by someone on the school parent's WhatsApp group! OUCH!
I actually announced a fling on a group chat about someone's birthday party instead of to my friends private account. I didn't know anyone else on that group, but let's just say when I arrived at the party, they all knew who I was!
So that makes me think there are more 'WhatsApp group fails' out there, AIBU? To ask for yours? And whilst we're at it, what's the most ridiculous WhatsApp group you're a member of?

Most ridiculous groups are the annoying mlm selling ones my cult worshipping mlm obsessed friends add me too. I leave those asap but not before 50 odd pics of shite merchandise which clog up my phone.

Fails..not really any myself yet. My dcousin has accidentally watsapped me a dirty message and been mortified.

Withnailandaye · 28/08/2019 14:31

I had an ex send me a body shot of him standing in front of his mirror, head to toe, completely naked.

Not entirely sure if it was a mistake though 😒

Withnailandaye · 28/08/2019 14:32

He said it was a mistake and acted slightly mortified but I feel like it was deliberate tbh.

AloeVeraLynn · 28/08/2019 14:35

My friend sent me a message about me, intended for our mutual friend, to our group chat. I was gutted. She apologised and we're "fine" but things aren't the same.

Nameisthegame · 28/08/2019 14:49

@Withnailandaye did it set your loins alight with burning desire 🤣

"Producer Amanda"?

Hmm probably the worst was when I accidentally clicked on a Daily Mail link.

It was fucking humiliating.

Nubbled · 28/08/2019 15:05

I take it Amanda is the producer of the AIBU podcast? Not a sleazy jurno.

Kpo58 · 28/08/2019 15:19

I did on MSN messenger once message a friend that someone didn't have a sense of humour, but I accidentally sent it to the person I was talking about instead of my friend. Blush
