Parent got married without telling me

I found out recently that one of my parents got married a while ago. I haven’t contacted them for about six months, though they have messaged me every so often. I’m still working through stuff from the past. I’ve known that they were engaged for about 18 months/two years, but didn’t know they’d planned a wedding or anything. Aibu to not know how to feel about this? I know I’m an adult but it still feels strange.

If you hadn’t contacted them for six months and had ignored all their messages, I think they would have reason to believe you weren’t interested in their life. So I think YABU to expect to be told about their wedding when you had given them the strong impression that you wanted nothing to do with them.
