To really really enjoy the occasional binge!

I’m very slim. Strict with what I eat. Work out very regularly.

But every now and then - my goodness I absolutely relish falling off the wagon and having a bona fide knock out binge and going to bed feeling stuffed!

It’s not chocolate or sweets for me. It’s multiple slices of thick cut seeded bread slathered in cream cheese and relish; it’s a gargantuan size bowl of granola; it’s slices of ham dipped in mustard; it’s a big bowl of juicy dried dates and dried apricots smothered in Greek yogurt and honey.

Stuffed. Absolutely stuffed. Must have been best part of 2000 calories in one glorious sitting whilst reading a magazine.

Sometimes. Just sometimes. So good.

Anyone else?!

I think everyone does! Reckon it must be a left over thing from our hunter gatherer days, this urge to binge to retain.

On the plus side, your binge foods are pretty healthy 😊

Shock I have just microwaved my 2nd melt in the middle chocolate pudding.. and I’ll probably eat more while I binge watch peaky blinders. I couldn’t get excited over your day..🤣

Healthy?! Perhaps if I’d eaten 10% off it.

But on the fourth slice with an inch thick slather of cream cheese and a table spoon of relish -
Not so much

And the bowl of granola was 50% nuts. And delicious crunchie toasted granola piece. It was a huge bowl. Better than any dessert IMO!

So tasty though.

Oh... why the biscuit?!

Name change fail!

Thanks anyway for posting. Glad to know I’m not alone. I know people suffer terribly with binge eating disorders. But I thought clearly posting in a light hearted tone on AIBU would be ok?

NC fail!

You can eat what you want OP, I don’t understand what your AIBU is exactly? AIBU to eat?

lovemenorca · 25/08/2019 19:56

Oh just to have the occasional blow out

Don’t worry - thought it was clear from the OP

I’ll get stuck in to Dark Water instead

Sparklesocks · 25/08/2019 19:57

Enjoy your snacks, you don’t have to justify what you eat to anyone

Sparklfairy · 25/08/2019 20:00

I do it when eating out. My record was two racks of ribs with all the sides. I'm a size 10.

When I'm at home I eat healthily and hardly any meat, but people don't see that, they just think I'm a pig Grin

CookPassBabtridge · 25/08/2019 20:11

This is weirdly how I stay slim OP.. by allowing myself to have days where I just eat constantly.. I must eat 5000 calories. I am a very healthy eater the rest of the time so it balances out. Having the chance to eat what I want gets it out of my system. I can't just have a bit of something.
