I wonder had they wrecked something more fashionable would the sentences have been harsher? The reporting of the original vandalism had a bit of a snigger about it.
Personally I would like to have seen them cleaning loos with a toothbrush.

It’s a shame the judge said they were wangs so strongly but then didn’t punish them more harshly

Nice use of scrotes btw

Boys will be boys innit? Excuse after excuse made for them in that article. Bloody typical.

I thought the sentence and compensation was on the very low side. £1500 total compared to a £30,000 damages. Yes I know funds were raised that more than cover the financial damage but these models take a very long time to make. (It is one of my DC's interests). I think it is interesting that the club are going to set up a trust to get youngsters involved. And the comment from the Chair was very dignified.

I would like to have seen a community service sentence. But perhaps that cant be done for under-18s.

I was just thinking the same about community service! Surely we should be handing out age appropriate community service for 14-18 year olds? I know if that was one of my kids the money I was paying would be transferred in to £1 an hour hard labour!
