I left the fridge door ajar for 30 mins. DP wants to throw the entire contents out.
I think he’s totally overreacting AIBU

I wouldn’t chuck it, it’ll be fine.

Spacerader · 14/08/2019 10:50

Nope, it’s only 30 mins.
I’d close the fridge and forget all about it.

YeOldeTrout · 14/08/2019 10:53

He is BVU.

Brandnewshit · 14/08/2019 10:55

How long does he think items are out of the fridge in a supermarket, from picking the 1st item up, to when it physically goes back in your fridge when you get home

He's being a drama queen

newmomof1 · 14/08/2019 10:56

For the sake of 30 minutes you don't need to throw anyway unless your house is about 400 degrees

meran · 14/08/2019 10:56

Thanks all.

He is being totally unreasonable. Stuff was probably out of the fridge for longer when it was being bought...

Jog22 · 14/08/2019 10:57

Wow. Even if it was the freezer I'd shut it and hope for the best but the fridge? Is he over- vigilant in other areas of life?

bridgetreilly · 14/08/2019 10:57

That is ludicrous. Shut the door now and don't open it until dinnertime. Everything will be completely fine.

PixieLumos · 14/08/2019 10:58

That would be an insane waste! Please don’t throw, it will definitely be fine.

TheRLodger · 14/08/2019 11:00

Sometimes by the time I’ve taken say ham from the fridge bit of the supermarket to the time I put it in the fridge at home an hour has passed m. It will be fine he’s being dramatic

whattodowith · 14/08/2019 11:01

Eurgh, how wasteful!
