Are Hollywood celebs normal BMI?

So I’m bored on my commute this morning and want some mindless chatter!

Spice up my weds- are Hollywood celebs normal BMI (body mass index)? I want your perspective seeing as all our daughters see these women day in day out!

And give some examples on what you think they weigh.

I think these days most of them are. Even at my very thinnest...I looked pretty awful...my BMI was 18 or 19.

Lets face it,actors read a script then get filmed acting it out.

I disagree and I think that acting is hard work and physically demanding. More so in certain films.

Film actors (male and female) tend to be quite short with slightly oversized heads. It’s what looks best on camera, apparently.

I’d guess a lot of them are at the lower end especially if they’re tall but there are a lot more normal looking A-listers at the moment and given so many roles are action-based, you seem to hear much more about the training regimes rather than diets. I don’t believe anyone in the public eye isn’t controlled about diet and exercise though. It your job was to look good and you had the money for chefs and personal trainers, it becomes part of your job.

It's not the 'Hollywood actors' you should be worried about your daughters seeing, OP. It's the normalisation of obesity which I'm sure you can see all around you on your long commute.

I think that a lot of slim Hollywood stars stay slim by going to the gym so look slim and fit rather than the slim and takes diet pills look of the black and white days.

Interesting perspectives here and that consensus seems to be that Hollywood isn’t overall ‘too thin’ just society getting fat 🤔

I used to do modelling & work in fashion. People are seriously deluded if they think most celebs weight 9.5-10 stone. The camera adds pounds, most celebs are much shorter & slimmer in real life than you imagine them to be.

Depends what you mean by 'normal'

I would guess theyre thinner and shorter than average but certainly average thin/fat in uk and usa is beyond what should be normal. Were generally overweight
