I’m sitting eating my lunch and hear this weird low rumble, it frightens the life out of me and the cats thinking it’s some form of air raid. Then I realise it’s my next door neighbours hoovering.

I’ve lived next door to them for six years, I work from home and I have NEVER heard them hoover before. In fact I have never heard them do anything so I’ve always assumed the walls are really thick.
I’ve spent six years singing at the top of my lungs, calling to my husband from other rooms, merrily hoovering at any time.
My husband is deaf and I am not a quiet person at the best of times.

I’m horrified to think this whole time they’ve been able to hear everything Blush

Should I go around and apologise?
Do I move?
Do I secretly judge them for never having hoovered the whole time I’ve lived next door to them?
