My husband, pretty much every night, falls asleep on the sofa. It drives me insane!
I get up before 6 most days, plus a nightfeed for the baby. We also have a toddler who usually wakes at least once, sometimes more. Because of this, I’m usually in bed before 10.
He lays on the sofa and is asleep within minutes of me going up, and stays there until he’s woken up by one of the kids, or more often by me shouting at him.
I think by sleeping on the sofa he is leaving the toddler’s waking to me, which I don’t think is fair given that I get up with the baby and get up earlier with them in the mornings. Last night toddler woke for a wee at 2am, called out for Daddy but I had to get up because my husband can’t hear from downstairs.
So AIBU to start placing a very loud baby monitor for the toddler by his head after he falls asleep?
