I would say so but there will be lost of posters saying it's perfectly fine and the op.should keep her nose out and that politicians expenses scandal and tax evasion is far worse ,mumsnet has odd ideas about benefit fraud.

It would certainly flag up on fraud checks. Part of being classed as living with a partner is things like this so they would be legally classed as being joint.
