I know Busted aren't the Shakespeare of the modern day but these lyrics just seem wholly inapporopriate. And it was early Noughties, so yes, technically 15+ years old.

They filmed part of the video of that song outside the block of flats where I live.

It's very much of it's time. Busted were ripping off 'punk' bands like Blink182 and Green Day for a pop market. Hardly surprising. Tbh i never really listened to the lyrics as i knew they'd be abysmal one way or another. Kudos on the time machine though

Do you really think that the lyrics in songs don't influence the way impressionable people think ? , even sub consciously ?
The type of music our children listen to can have a huge impact on how they think and behave , references to drugs , gang warfare , sexual and physical abuse have been proven to have a direct link to crime and and what is seen as a perfectly acceptable way to treat and speak to women

About a song thats over 15 years old??? I'm pretty sure most people on social media arent old enough to remember who busted are, well apart from the one that presents big brother's husband. Tbh i suspect most people are struggling to remember mcfly let alone busted.. And really what do you think the record company are going to do??
