To think he's not ready to potty train?

2 year old ds. 3 in 6 weeks time.
I started getting the judgy looks as he’s still in nappies so decided to try potty training.
Just for further info his sister was potty trained at 25 months old. So it’s not as if I’m being lazy and just can’t be bothered, but she showed signs of readiness.
So, he’s never ever ever weed on a potty or toilet. We have potties scattered round the house, put him on them first thing and at bath time etc.
He doesn’t comment when he wees or poos in his nappy, although will tell you he’s pooed if asked.
Anyway, so far today I’ve put him on the toilet every 15 minutes. He’s not done a single wee on the toilet/potty but has had 6 changes of pants.
He’s not even bothered when he’s wet, just carries on playing.
It’s only day 1, but he’s showing no signs whatsoever.
Should I persevere or try in a few months?

Is the site working now?
Just to update that it’s almost 5pm and despite putting on the potty about 25 times today we’ve not had a single wee on there. We’ve had 8 wees and a poo in his pants.
About to chuck the towel in!

I'm right there with you, my DD turned 3 in May and I've been trying for about 6 months. Some random pees in the potty but she doesn't seem to get it.

Her older brother picked it up really quick after he turned 2 so I just don't know what's the difference here.

She starts nursery at the end of the month and I know I'll get the judgey looks if she's still not out nappies Sad

Thank goodness I’m not the only one.
He literally is oblivious.
He’s now refusing to even sit on the potty.
