So, been on Microgynon (combined pill) for 8 years solid, no breaks at any point. Recently came off it (17th July) and ever since I've been experiencing so much nausea and loads of headaches.

Is this normal for coming off the pill? Anyone else experienced this? I've not actually been sick or anything just felt nauseous most days, the headache has been constant now for a week, it's horrid!

Just wondering whether it's possibly linked to the pill or if anyone else had anything similar? Thanks guys

I struggled coming off microgynon, I'd been on for maybe 3 years at that point. I googled at the time and there was a lot around about side effects when coming off the pill (and I googled microgynon specifically). I am not surprised you're having some side effects but as ever, if they continue or worsen or you're concerned - get to your GP. I am not a fount of medical knowledge, just someone sharing a personal story!

I hope it settles down for you soon.

@flipperdoda yeah, I'm thinking I'll give it another week and if I'm still feeling under the weather I'll see my GP, thank you for sharing your experience!
