To think I have no choice but to stay

In work today feel like absolute crap! I'm currently 7 and a half weeks pregnant and I've started vomitting this morning and have diarrhea as well.

I haven't felt this awful since I had Norovirus a few years ago.

I want to go home so badly but my boss is on holiday and the only other partner here is leaving soon for a meeting and won't be in tomorrow.

I work in conveyancing so have completions to deal with etc...

I've no choice but to stay have I?

Will there literally be no-one else there?

There will be one other fee earner and a secretary but it would mean I'd have to leave all my work with them and they are already stressed.

But if it is contagious and not pregnancy related I highly doubt they'd want whatever you have! You and your baby are more important than one day of stress, it's what working in a team means. I'm sure you'd do it for them!
