To wonder if I've been blacklisted

No hot water. Have phoned 15 local plumbers to try to sort this, including my usual go to, been with them for about 30 years but complained a few months ago about a radiator they fitted. Wasn't really dealt with; receptionist referred to it several times.
Two said they would phone back but haven't.
Is this normal? Getting worried as running out of people to call.

How far did the complaining go?

Try a self employed type person, they certainly don't have a black list though, they don't have a plumbers secret society!

My life at the minute seems to be chasing tradesmen who said they will come out/ring back and don't or are very late as doing some major work on the house, most seem to be terrible at getting back, just keep ringing.
Random other companies are not going to blacklist a potential customer because she complained once about a competitor.

Didn't work. Settled for a vertical radiator higher on the wall than I wanted. Less heat but I don't think that that was the heating engineers fault.

I also think its unlikely I've been black listed apart from original company. Just cannot believe how difficult it is to get a simple, diagnosed, 3 port valve replacing. Does mean pulling yourself into a loft from a step ladder but has been done before.

Plumbers in my experience are like rocking horse poo! Incredibly hard to find a good one!

I feel your pain. very annoying!

Would have easily tackled step ladder to loft 10 years ago. I have mentioned this when phoning.
But careful with the phrasing of fit plumber :)
