Apologies if I'm in the wrong place here! Been doing some internet searching but not getting what I'm after - I have two quite large surgical scars, one on my arm and one on my face, that are six weeks old. I know they need protecting from the sun but is it too soon to put suncream on? There is no broken skin and they are healing well I think - they're quite pink/purple. Just a bit worried at all the chemicals in suncream on delicate scar skin. Hospital did not give much advice before discharge. Any advice much appreciated 🙂
