Am I searching for the holy grail?! Looking for a holiday for 4 adults and 3 kids, all inclusive, enough fun stuff to please the kids but with local authentic village life (restaurants, galleries) close by in the Mediterranean? Hit me up with your suggestions please. Max budget £4K
Is this doable for late August?

That's not a huge budget for a nice AI in a cultural location for 7 people in August/school holidays especially if you haven't booked yet!

I know Grin That’s what I’m reaching out here on a wing and a prayer

£4K really isn’t much for school holidays.....I think you’ll struggle.

How old are DCs because let’s be honest they’d rather have a waterpark than a gallery the bastids.

Maybe Cyprus, somewhere like Paphos? I’ve just helped my sister book a trip to there, next week, 3 adults for 4 nights, half board, for £1500
This was with Jet2

Looks to be a lot of culture nearby (ancient ruins, monasteries, archaeological parks) as well as the usual stuff for kids eg water parks

Just do self catering but don't self-cater! It's the Med. Pizza/pasta/antipasti or dolmas/saganaki/tzatziki or bread/ham/cheese for lunch, self-serve breakfast and dinner out. Cheap local plonk.

But that's not what you asked for Grin

We love this place, it's amazing. And an absolute bargain considering how good it is. www.sangulisalou.com/en/

No, it isn't all inclusive but the prices on site are reasonable. It's about 30 minutes away from Barcelona on the train from the station over the road...........you also have portaventura theme park an hour or so away. I'd opt for something like this over shonky all inclusive, I think you'd really struggle to get anywhere decent with that budget.

I just looked on first choice and was surprised it came back with options! Have a search
