To cover myself in talc?

Put fake tan on about 1 hr ago. The new skinny tan serum. Now in bed and whilst it has dried fully I feel a bit tacky.... really tempted to rub myself down with talc. Will this ruin the tan?! I’m lying in bed anyway so pressed up against sheets, what difference will it make?

Well I got so bloody irritable with feeling sticky I’ve gone ahead and dusted myself down. Only have the stuff in the house for trips to the beach... v pleased though as I think I’ll be able to sleep now. Even if I do smell like an old lady.

I wouldn’t use talc regularly. And not on genital area as there have been a couple of scares. But I think one off use would be fine.

You’ll be fine, I sometimes put on a bit of talc over fake tan if I’m feeling particularly sticky

Aroundnabout1 · 28/07/2019 22:40

Oh interesting i might try that. I HATE that sticky feeling. Part of reason i dont self tan much anymore.

Is corn flour safer for more regular use? I notice lush make their talc from that and thought maybe it’s less dodgy.

I’ve not put it near my nether regions but I feel like I’m still inhaling the stuff!!!

I don’t use talc regularly. Normally take it to the beach to help clean off the sand etc. But I’ve never heard anything bad about talc! What are the problems then. Genuine question because I have no idea.

Just use plain corn flour OP - it's better for you anyway as it's got no fragrance or a anything else added!
