My 40th birthday is coming up soon. A few people have asked what I’d like as gifts - I think they’re thinking jewellery or whatever.
I’m thinking
*a piano, because I have always wanted to be able to play the piano. I know it will just sit there gathering dust but still...
*a scooter, because when the kids are on theirs it looks like lots of fun.
*money towards gym membership, because I don’t want to be this unfit at 41.
*a pet, because we don’t have one and I don’t feel right without a pet. We’ve been in dispute over it, so I’d like my husband to give in and let me have a cat. Or a tortoise.
Has anyone got any other nice alternative ideas for nice alternative people? We've booked a holiday for the day itself.
