Sisters wedding, Bra, Breastfeeding, Arrrrrggghh!!

Hi everyone

Not really an AIBU, posting here for traffic.

My sisters getting married in 3 weeks, yaaaay!!

I have a 3 week old DD who I will be breastfeeding.

I have my wedding outfit sorted, which I don't want to change as I look like a beached whale in everything else I own with my sexy flabby post-partum physique.

I need a nursing bra with straps that crossover at the back, either that or strapless. I can't find anything for love nor money.

AIBU to ask if you ladies know anywhere that can sell me such an item without it costing the earth?

A strapless plunge will be easy to feed in by pulling down a cup.

I know a lot of people get on well with the M&S bralettes - they're not specifically nursing bras, just soft and wireless and can be pulled down. Would something like that work or do you need more support?

If you have a bra you like you could alter it to have crossover straps? Any alterations service like a dry cleaner could do it for you.

Racer back clips?

Just use a normal nursing bra with the clips above⬆️

There are a couple on asos from the brand Projectme!

Thank you all for the awesome ideas. I've got plenty of nursing bras so those clips would be perfect. What an amazing idea!
Ill go look for them now.

You can alter regular bras to be nursing bras.

I’ve tried the clips before and they’ve just exploded- but I have literally tied the straps together using thread and that’s lasted. Good luck! X

By week 3 i hated my nursing bra as it just did my head in and had 0 support so ended up just buying some normal tshirt bras (think like 40/42 E) and just had pads in to catch the excess/leakages. I had a christening when my daughter was 10 days so kind of understand your predicament. Hope you can find a good bra that works with your dress (ive always had good fortune with m&s for bras)
