I've genuinely been contemplating sitting in one with dd however I'm on a diet and I'm not sure my willpower is strong enough 😁

I’m waiting to pick a child up from somewhere nearby in an hour or so. I’ve had a Flake ice cream thingy too.Blush

@foreverhanging don't do it. I took DD and her friend for a McFlurry yesterday to break up an all day play date as I'm not a fan of ice cream and dieting and ended up demolishing a cheeseburger. Couldn't help myself. No self control mind you 😢

Ds1 is working there. They dont have it in the kitchen. It's ok, they keep a sink full of water and ice and dunk their heads regularly and they take their breaks in the fridge.....apparently

I took my younger sister and her friends to a Pizza Hut yesterday and resisted gorging on carbs. Very proud of myself. I was happy enough as I was "treating" myself to a diet coke. Eating healthy is no fun at all.

We were in Cyprus a couple of years ago in July and it was far too hot! (Never again in July!!!). We spent a lot of time in the air conditioned bliss of McDonalds! We'd never usually go to a MaccyD's at all abroad, but it was just too tempting. It was really uncomfortable having lunches/snacks/drinks at the roadside/beachside places due to the heat and they didn't have air-con.

I'm staying home with my feet in DD's paddling pool although she keeps shouting 'MUMMY OUT'
