I was in a cafe having lunch, and needed the loo. I could see the toilets from where I was sitting, they were down a little corridor. I got to toilets and tried the door( thinking it may have led to more loos IFSWIM) but it was engaged so I waited outside. The occupant came out, I was just about to go in when a lady appeared from nowhere and told me that she had been 'queuing ' for ages. I was a little bemused but I apologised and let her go first. I thought no more of it. When I eventually came out my DD told me that the lady , when getting to her seat had loudly asked her DH if he had seen that cheeky cow try to push in the queue in front of her and make her wait longer. So if I did not know that she was waiting(definitely not queuing) was I actually a cheeky cow even though I let her go first, or should I be psychic and have realised that it is a thing to queue in your seat.

Why do you care enough to post on here about it?

Raving You obviously cared enough to post on here!

You were fine. It is not a thing Q'g from your seat. She sounds batty - dont give it another thought.

DopeyDazy · 20/07/2019 22:18

unless there are tickets for queue, you're fine

WanderingTrolley1 · 20/07/2019 22:20

Ridiculous. How were you to know she was waiting in the queue if she’s not actually waiting in a queue?!

MrsLinManuelMiranda · 20/07/2019 22:23

Raving ,apologies I thought that was what this forum was for, but thanks for also caring enough to post on here about it!

Yes that women was ridiculous. But I often do that in public say trains for example. If I can see the bathroom is engaged I will stay seated rather than queue outside the door, and I think il pop up as soon as it’s free and someone else will get up before me and use it Envy
Which is annoying as in my head I was theoretically queuing Blush

MrsLinManuelMiranda · 20/07/2019 22:41

Coco It wasn't so much the fact that she assumed I should have realised that she was 'queuing from her seat', it was the fact that she slagged me off to her DH for being unable to read her mind.

It wasn't a mistake, woman was rude.

Basketofkittens · 20/07/2019 22:53

People are weird and definitely getting crazier. I try to limit my interactions with strangers!
