To ask what D21S11 means

Mutation at the D21S11 locus was observed. What does/could that mean? I’ve googled and could only find Down syndrome in relation to it, could it cause anything else?

I've not got an answer for you, but giving it a bump in case someone else knows.

What',s it in relation too, ?my son has a chromosome deletion, many people on the UNIQUE ( it's a support group.for rare chromosome disorders) talk about specific gene mutations?

My ex wanted a paternity test done and it came back saying my son had that mutation. He’s got a diagnosis of autism and was wondering if it was linked at all
