Hi, I'm posting here for traffic.

I was just wondering whether anyone has any experience of using cbd oil go treat anxiety and if so what type/ brand have you found useful.

I find it very confusing. Any advice/ suggestions would be really helpful.

Yes me.

I had extreme anxiety, was prescribed sertraline, gave that a bash for about 7 weeks but made things much much worse.

Then started on CBD oil and it's been great. I'm on a light one. Couple of drops under the tongue in the morning and again at tea time. You are supposed to do a drop 3 times a day and build up to find your 'sweet spot' but my oil has tumeric it in and burst in my favourite purse so I no longer take it out.

For anxiety low and slow is the best way apparently as too much can have the opposite effect.

I get mine online from Simply CBD, and they have a great Facebook support group which advises on dose etc. Really helpful.

Can't recommend it enough! Still don't think many people really 'get' chronic anxiety unfortunately. I also try and cut down on alcohol as I really notice the difference when I drink and I've cut off a few close 'friends' and tried to simplify life in general.

@supercee can I ask which one you use if you don’t mind? Xx

Sure, I use the liquid gold. There are 3 starter ones apparently and the gold and green ones are recommended for first time users. The gold has turmeric which is good for anti-inflammation if your stomach can handle it. It's a more 'relaxing' profile. The green is more lively I think (I'm still getting my head round it).

From that user group some people take green in the morning and gold in the evening but I've been fine on just the gold. I'll maybe try the green next when my gold runs out as it's slightly stronger I think.

My husband uses it and swears by it. It's very pricy though. £100 for 10ml of 2000 mg.

I tried it and found it useless, plus it tasted revolting.
