It's tiny. Appeared out of nowhere. Fairly sure it's not a bruise as wasn't there an hour ago. I'm being silly to worry aren't I?

Does it itch?

namechangedtohelpyou · 17/07/2019 14:30

Not itchy at all. It's more like a bruise but wasn't there an hour ago. I've been driving and it just appeared.

I'd ask a pharmacist about it if there is one nearby.

It’s not a rash. It’s just a few burst blood vessels. Extremely common and will disappear in the next day or two.

namechangedtohelpyou · 17/07/2019 14:38

Fair enough. No idea how I managed to burst blood vessels whilst driving!

It is bruising. Perhaps you lugged something heavy into the car by a strap ? Or twisted your arm somehow ?

NannyR · 17/07/2019 14:44

The burst blood vessel thing happens to me occasionally, a small, dark bruise, fairly painful, that appears out of the blue, usually on my hand.

namechangedtohelpyou · 17/07/2019 14:46

Really weird. It wasn't there before and just appeared as I was driving. I noticed two little spots, then 20 mins later noticed more appeared. Didn't know you could bruise yourself without actually doing anything!

Unless it spreads a lot more than that, I would just keep an eye on it.

I have a rash on my leg, covering an area about 4 inches x 1 inch. It stays a few days and then goes, but it's appeared several times. I presume I got some plant sap on it in the past and have set up a photosensitive area of skin. There's all sorts of things can cause rashes to appear.

Have you had your blood pressure checked recently? Blood vessels bursting more easily and bruising can be a sign that it's high.
