...sunny child free break?

Apologies I'm posting here for traffic :)
My friend and I are unexpectedly child free mid week. Wed to Sunday (next week)
We'd love to go away and have a girly break. We want somewhere nice and sunny with good food a bar and reasonable price.
(Were both 40 and wouldn't mind a few men our age knocking about... so would like to avoid a 'too quiet' but not a club thumping away next door! Lol
All ideas gratefully received please 😁

Costa Adeje in Tenerife is a really nice resort and away from the 18-30 nightlife. There’s a huge beach, lots of nice restaurants, cocktail bars and a more upmarket feel. When I was there most people looked between the ages of 30-60.

Sardinia is also a gorgeous island with amazing food and wine.

If you don’t want a beach type place then a city break somewhere like Barcelona or Lisbon could be good. Lisbon is fab with the best restaurants and cafes ever

Alicante city break, lots to see and do. Close to Alicante airport, the city feels very Spanish, plenty of cheap flight options. Food and drink very reasonable.

Thank you!! I haven't been away on my own with a girly friend for 20 years! I'm so excited but limited with funds. So your advice it brilliant xx

Palma is perfect for a short break in the sun! Short flight, plenty of good hotels in the city, beautiful old town, loads of great restaurants, bars and beach clubs, taxi or bus to any of the gorgeous beaches in the area...have fun wherever you choose!

I second Palma, lots to do with lovely bars and restaurants. Head to Ritzis in Puerto Portals. Fancy restaurant/bar to people watch and have some cocktails.
