Washing machine water - sorry need quick response

Sorry its not an AIBU.

DS 12 months has just bit the rubber seal of the washing machine where the water pools after a wash. Am I overreacting by worrying? I tasted the water after him and it tasted of nothing. Was literally one bite.

No expert but if it was my child I wouldn't worry too much. Give him lots of water and see how he goes.

Ahhh OP, he's going to do far worse things than lick the washing machine seal over the next few years.

I would advise not copying all of them because toddlers are absolutely rank.

He will be fine. As will you.

Did he actually take a chunk of the rubber out ? If not then plenty of drinks and believe me in no time at all he'll have licked, eaten or stuck his fingers in an awful lot worse! Grin
