How bad is this going to get? I understand why they're striking and sympathise but can't help but be worried about my own once in a life time booking. Can anyone who knows anything about the industry give some insight as to just what affect the strikes will have? Will majority of planes be grounded? Will Heathrow shut down as is claimed? If the BA pilots do strike how is that likely to play out? Will then strike for just one day or a week? I just want to prepare my children for disappointment more than anything as both have autism. Any thoughts or insider insight would be most grateful received.
