To wear this for a hen do?

I know I’m probably being UR by posting here but I need help ASAP.

Going on a hen day tomorrow, pretty fancy stuff planned which is way out of my element and haven’t got a good grasp on what to wear.
So far I’ve thought of possible wearing an A Line skirt that sits just below the knee, with a tucked in ribbed top. Shoes are a problem, I only really have chunky boots or trainers. Could I wear something like that with some canvas shoes?? Or would it be better to wear a black and white (mainly black) blouse with some black skinny jeans and boots? Getting very stressed out about this. I also need my footwear to be suitable as there will be a lot of walking on uneven terrain and I do NOT want to be the poor sod that goes arse over tit.

Please help me Blush

What is the 'fancy stuff'? It's impossible to say if your outfit is appropriate if you don't give an indication of what you'll be doing/where you'll be.

We need to know what you’re dressing for to help:
But op, have you ever been out and thought “ ooh, she has the wrong outfit for this event”? I really love clothes and always notice the ones I wish I had, but I really can’t ever remember thinking badly of someone who wasn’t dressed in a style I like.
Hope you enjoy the night.

Depends on what you're doing and how fancy it is I guess but I like the sound of skinnies, a blouse and boots! :)

Although if you have any chunky white trainers then they'd match your skirt and tucked in top, loads of people wear things like that these days.

If you're not sure I've actually found pinterest a great resource for outfit ideas, type in something to do with your outfit eg a line skirt then flick through til you find an idea you like, if you click on it it will show you loads of similar ideas underneath it.

I know it might seem obvious but I find a lot of people just use pinterest for weddings/recipes but it's good for outfits too!!
