And neither will the other tabloids? Looking at you The Sun and The Mirror?

I want you to. Print this and not the threads from other posters who are genuinely looking for help.

C*^[$ the lot of you.

WELl, this is weird. This came up with an auto deleted message from mumsnet hq which is why I started the other thread. Stay with this and ignore the other one.

OP posts:
Marnie76 · 12/07/2019 10:23

But you haven’t said anything why would they print it? 😳. At least state something about the tabloids worth them printing/not printing

ChazsBrilliantAttitude · 12/07/2019 10:23

You need to post a sad face photo that will do the trick.

OinkFlapOinkFlap · 12/07/2019 10:24

Alright. They are lazy “journalists”

Sad

You need a juicy story. Something with cheeky fuckery.

Or

something that “proves” the daily mail’s racist vitriol such as “my Muslim friend asked me to be her bridesmaid but I have to convert to Islam and marry her second cousin AIBU to say no”

Unshriven · 12/07/2019 10:25

What?

There's no story in your thread, why would anyone reprint it?

A good proportion of the stuff on here is pure fiction anyway, probably started off just to be picked up. Grin

Or are you hoping for a DM piece on 'how MNetters feel about threads being reused'?

NoSauce · 12/07/2019 10:26

Which thread?

Bananalanacake · 12/07/2019 10:27

you need to make up something juicy and attention grabbing. like 'my bridesmaid shagged my new husband on the buffet table during the speeches at my wedding'

Jemima232 · 12/07/2019 10:29

Start a thread for Meghan Markle haters. They'll love that.

Mind you, MN is generally on her side so that won't fly.

Marnie76 · 12/07/2019 10:31

Again, that’s not a story is it, one line. How about saying that you don’t agree with the way reporters hound grieving relatives talking about a recent example. They probably still won’t print but at least you’ll have actually written something worth reading 😳

Sparklingbrook · 12/07/2019 10:33
Confused
LauderSyme · 12/07/2019 10:34

I posted on your other thread but actually I'm starting to find MN users' obsession with sticking two fingers up at the DM boring and annoying. And I am far from their target audience.

Sagradafamiliar · 12/07/2019 10:35

Why would they? You haven't even said anything funny or alternative or thought provoking or controversial or...anything.
How entitled you must be to type out a title and expect it to be picked up by the tabloids!

Sparklingbrook · 12/07/2019 10:35

Me too Lauder.

OinkFlapOinkFlap · 12/07/2019 10:44

The votes are as close as the referendum.

OP posts:
SylviaAndSidney · 12/07/2019 10:45

Well this is just as odd as the other thread. Where's the content?

Sparklingbrook · 12/07/2019 10:46

I am not sure what the vote is for. Is it that YABU/NBU for posting this?

Sparklingbrook · 12/07/2019 10:46

Sylvia, I think there must be an in joke we aren't in on. Confused

SylviaAndSidney · 12/07/2019 10:50

How bizarre. More mention of the DM on MN than anywhere else.

OinkFlapOinkFlap · 12/07/2019 10:52

I think the DM and other tabloids are BU to print threads that the OP won’t want to be printed, but they won’t print mine and I am happy for them to print it. AIBU?

Yes you are and none of it makes sense.

Jemima232 · 12/07/2019 10:57

YABU unless you post a link to the thread you want them to print.

If there is one.

SylviaAndSidney · 12/07/2019 10:59

If it's this thread you want printing it's utterly meaningless on MN, never mind the DM.

Stamz · 12/07/2019 11:01

Yabu, the Internet isn't a private space, threads get spread on social media, reddit, tabloids etc, mumsnet itself is large so could get read by people you don't want to anyway. Don't publish things online that you would be scared of being spread around, as you have no control where it goes.
Why would they publish this thread, its saying nothing interesting.

Sagradafamiliar · 12/07/2019 11:09

Yabu, there is no content. You want to swoop in valiantly and take away their attention from genuine threads but there's nothing to be seen here. Have I missed something?
