Aibu to think i'm the worst adult? Some small tasks I can't do on a daily basis these being

-I don't drink water.. ever
-I struggle to keep dishes washed and clean

Presumably you drink other stuff? Drinking water isn’t compulsory.

I’m bad a remembering to send birthday cards.

Hoovering. I loathe it. I watch the dust gather all week until I blitz it at the weekend. The place looks so much better afterwards but I just cannot be the type of adult who hoovers every time its needed/daily. Soz not soz.

I'm also bad for sending birthday cards -I write the date to send them on the calendar a week before which has improved things.
I always feel bad that I don't set a proper table for meals -We eat at the table but I just clear half of it for us to eat at with work/craft/lego at the other half.
I think the biggest "not adult" thing for me is that I can't drive.

Washing! I tend to just watch it pile up!! I cannot stand sorting it all, Folding, remembering what gets washed at what temp, what products to use for what, hanging it all up, What can go on the airer and what goes on the line. And God forbid I have to do beding too.

Bad at small talk and and turning up to Social functions.
Dont reply to texts for days sometimes
Salad dodge
Decide to switch off empathy for people if i choose
Dont stick to speed limits
Hate water and love fizzy drinks not fat in the slightest
Sometimes intolerant of others
Drink a few sambucas on a school night

I forget things. Seriously, I can forget things like - I was bought a bike (for an anniversary ) even though I can't ride a bike, didn't want or ask for a bike so stashed it in the shed, unridden. Years later DD mentioned my bike and I denied ever having had a bike. She had to produce the photo of me and the bike (at the great present unveiling - the LOOK on my face!) before I eventually remembered.

I also forget words (but think that's an aging thing!)

I hate dusting.For anyone that hates hoovering get a cordless one,its a game changer.

I think in my house with the kids and the cats, it could definitely benefit from a daily whizz round with the hoover or at least every second day but I just cannot face that.

Cooking dinner for myself....cook for my daughter, my husband- a bag of doritos suits me for myself.

Ironing a huge pile of clothes..why! Iron as you go.
