To ignore the instructions on elasticizer?

The instructions are a right faff. Wet your hair, apply. Leave on for ages. Wash off with shampoo.

I wash with shampoo, rinse, apply, leave for a few minutes then rinse off. Any attempts at the official way leads to ignoring the jar and never using it.

Hair feels great. Aibu?

My hair never feels better than when I've used it properly. If you just slap it on like that you might as well just use conditioner.

I just googled it because I had no idea what it was. I would suggest at that price you actually follow the instructions, otherwise surely it's just a waste?

I was pressed for time and used it your way at the weekend.
I can categorically say that the recommended method gives vastly better results for me.
My hair is straight and fairly thick, highlighted and long, if that makes a difference.

Ah ffs. Right. I'll promise myself to be a better person and use properly.

Have to say, other conditioners make my hair fluffy and frizzy so I usually skip it. The elasticizer actually does make it smooth.
