Dogs getting onto the playground at school

As the title suggests I am right to be concerned that this has happened more than once? Fencing is in poor condition with easy access to the grounds. Children have been upset and it is an accident waiting to happen. School are not changing a thing.

They prob can’t afford to replace the whole fence.... but YANBU. Dogs off the lead are a menace and should be on their leads in public, especially near schools and other busy places. In the town I live in there’s a huge enclosed dog field on council owned land. It’s brilliant and means that there are rarely dogs off the lead anywhere else.
