Hi, so my ds is almost 2 and is being a monster, for the past few weeks his behaviour has totally changed. He's no longer the happy content toddler. He's screeching and screaming shouting and crying over the slightest things that never used to bother him. I think it's teething and going through the terrible twos. We are trying our best to keep him occupied and distracted but still he's still being a nightmare of late.

On top of stressing about him I'm also stressed about the noise our upstairs neighbour must hear. I've spoken to her and she's always really nice but lately she seems to have changed and not be as friendly and I think it's due to the noise level. So I'm wondering if it would be weird to get her a bottle of wine or something with a little sorry for the noise note or something like that?

That would be nice.
I’m sure she’s appreciate it.

Bunch of flowers would go down well. I renovate houses and always give the neighbors a bunch of flowers as an apology in advance!

How lovely.

I think even if the noise hasn't bothered them it would be a lovely gesture.

I think that’s really considerate. A nice bottle of wine and a card explaining the situation will go a long way to keeping the neighbourly relationship pleasant.

Thanks for the replys. Im going to buy some wine and flowers. They are really good neighbours so I'd like to still get along, hopefully my sons tantrums haven't put them off, and they accept them :)

That would be really nice. And maybe reassure her that it’s only a phase and it won’t last forever!
