DS goes to beavers which is held in a school hall. At the same time cubs run in a different part of the school. They are fully supervised.
On a Tuesday night which is the night beavers/cubs is on they spent most of the time outdoors preparing for camp this weekend.
The next day a message goes up on the beaver/cub Facebook page from the schools site manager who said
“USB pen stolen from classroom computer last night. It was the year 3 teachers memory pen. IT NEEDS TO COME BACK NOW”
Next news is the cubs and beavers have been banned from using the school and have to find somewhere else.
The beaver and cub leaders swear everyone was fully supervised at all times and are upset to be accused. All the kids have been spoken to and most did not even know what a USB pen was especially the younger ones.
There was also football training on that night on the field and kids from that were being send into the school to use the toilet unsupervised.
Now I am in 2 minds about this as I am thinking why have the football trainers not been approached and due to data protection should a USB pen with lots of personal pupil data on been left in an unlocked classroom still in the computer!!!! Especially knowing that others groups use the school at night.
Not sure what to think.
