Anyone know about magnetic acupuncture in your ears?

It's the ones put in your ears?

AIBU to ask wtf it's supposed to do for me?

I want to know whether I can expect a miraculous transformation in me and also how often should I have it done? Once a week? Twice a week?

I've only just had them done today. Should I expect anything?

I think he put 3 in each ear.

I've had the needles put in my ears about a year and half ago but found the insertion painful, so opted for the magnets this time round.

If anyone knows what they're supposed to be doing that would be great!

Why would you partake in something that you don’t know the purpose of?

Why did you get it?

It's a treatment that's offered as complimentary to where I go for therapy. As I said, I've had the needles before and they target heart, lungs, liver etc. but I'm not sure what the magnets do and forgot to ask him! There were 5 of us there, it wasn't a 1-to-1.

And I opted for it as it's free!

Have to say I'm feeling rather relaxed - I suffer with insomnia. Then again, that might be due to going to the gym and having a lot of fresh air and walking today.

I know when I did the needles ones last year, some people would fall asleep. Not a snowball's chance in hell of me falling asleep, didn't notice anything significant, but managed to make massive transitions in my life fairly effortlessly - hard to tell whether that was down to the acupuncture or not.
I've just never had the magnet ones until today so was hoping maybe someone has had it and knows what they're supposedly targeting?
