To think I might have hayfever?

I've never been affected by hayfever before and although my eyes are fine (which is the symptom I'd normally notice in others), I've got a stuffy nose, sore throat/roof of mouth, earache and a constant headache across my forehead ans top of head! This sounds like a cold but doesn't feel like one, if that makes sense!

Am I being ridiculous attributing it to hayfever or could this be because of the high pollen lately and can I become susceptible to it after years of no issues?

Pollen counts are very high, at the moment, so it's entirely possible. I was in a queue of people in Boots, all buying hay-fever remedies, on Saturday.
