My toddler (16months) has been unwell for about 10 days.
Started with runny nose, the fever for a day, then vomiting for about 4/5 days (but not loads of vomiting and no diarrhoea). No vomit since Sat am.
Looked like he was on the mend but got a nasty cough and fever over the weekend so doctors this morning.
She said his ear looked like it had some discharge so prescribed amoxicillin.
I gave it to him about an hour ago. He had a bottle. Has now vommed everywhere.
Is this the antibiotics? A resurgence of the tummy bug? Something else? I just don’t know what to do.
He’s not ‘really’ sick but he’s not himself and I’m really worn out with it as I just worry I’m not doing the right thing. Any advice is much appreciated 😔
