To ask you to be my doctor?

I can't get a doc app today and this doesn't feel serious enough to go any other method.

On Saturday (heatwave day) I went into the city to meet friends at a place outside with roofing, it created this humid unbearable environment. Just before I ate sushi (raw salmon, fresh from a restaurant. I always eat sushi) I then had a drink and started to feel so sick. The heat was unbearable. When we moved out of the place into fresh air and in shade I started to feel fine again.

I had a few more drinks, perhaps 5 alcoholic drinks over 8 hours. On the way home I threw up (never been sick on a night of drinking in my life. Occasionally will be sick the next day if I over do it). I continued to be sick all night.

Then Sunday I had horrible stomach cramps and felt exhausted.

Today I had to call in sick as I feel nauseous, no appetite and lethargic.

Could this be heat exhaustion or something else?

Thanks guys

I'd wager it is a mild dose of food poisoning or food intollerance.

Sushi in the heat, mixed with alcohol in the stomach, fermentation begins, breed bacteria and boom, the boggy runners.

Heat issues normally, IME at least, include headaches, eye strains and profuse sweating more than vomitting for extended periods.

The one and only time I has seafood food poisoning I was laid up for 2 weeks, also went to A&E, constant D&V, couldnt even keep water down.

Are you managing to drink fluids and are you seeing as much as usual, normal colour? The main concern would be that you got very dehydrated and this has temporary affected your kidneys, in which case you would need to see a doctor today.

That should be weeing, not seeing ...

Food poisoning not heat exhaustion I'd think but we can't be your doctor.

UnderPompeii · 01/07/2019 15:58

Sounds like heatstroke, my DS is prone to it. Call 111?

gower4 · 01/07/2019 15:59

Norovirus

Thanks for responses.

I was sick Saturday night but haven't been sick since.
Only nausea and exhaustion, very thirsty but can keep fluids down fine but I'm not enjoying them.
Can't eat or I feel very sick, but haven't yet thrown up since!

I'd assume food poisoning would last longer?
