I had a disagreement with a friend about this.
His friend has feelings for him. She’s told him so before and he’s said he’s not interested. She claims she’s moved on but anyone with two eyes can see she hasn’t as she reacts badly to his dating etc. But he still pursues friendship with her. He messaged almost every day often more than once, he asks her to things one on one and relies on her support. He thinks it’s ok because he’s made it clear it’s just as friends but I disagree. I’ve been in a similar situation before and as much as it hurts to lose a friend I feel like if they have unrequited feelings for me I need to let them go.
