Where's my period?

Sorry for TMI!

I was due on the 24th... It's now the 29th and no freaking sign of the bastard thing! I did a PT on the 26th and one today, both are negative.

I haven't missed or had a late period since I was pregnant with DD! Could the tests be wrong? If not, why am I not on??

How old are you?

Maybe you ovulated late, maybe stress or something else has affected your cycles... etc etc.

I had this last month I was 4 days late really thought I was pregnant and then my period arrived I don’t know what caused it to be late but it seems the length of my cycle has changed again for some reason.

Sometimes you can ovulate late or not at all.. Apparently it's normal to miss one or two periods a year.

Mine has also gone AWOL (due on 23rd) very concerning! It's horrible just waiting for the damn thing to arrive, assuming you want it to?

I'm 27. It's so strange not had any cramps or anything to indicate that it's on its way. Maybe I've just missed one due to some sort of stress.

Are you stressed, sick or on any sort of medication atm? Are you actively TTC or at least had unprotected sex?

Honestly, so so many things can throw a cycle off. I’m still breastfeeding my eight month old but periods started again when he was 6 months old. First period was normal, lasted five days. Second period was four days late and lasted for twelve days... this period is now a week late. I took two tests the other day really paranoid but they were negative so now just waiting on it. I have had the odd month here and there in the past where I’ve just skipped a period all together. It’s usually when I’m stressed or have been exercising too much.

Where were you when you last had it?

Even though we're not trying and we're using contraception, I'm slightly disappointed. We can't afford another child now unfortunately and the timing would have been terrible.. But still.. A little bit gutted
