Price of a pregnancy massage

Posted for traffic: I’m getting a pregnancy massage soon with someone who has just trained and asked for people. She said she might have to refer to her notes. It will be 45 mins. Payment is by donation. What would be a fair donation? I’m in SE London.

Can you look up rates locally? Is it at home or in a salon?

£45

I have just qualified as a beauty therapist and I know when therapists start out you don't expect £45 personally I would pay £10-15 I think will be roughly what she will be expecting.

I’ve had massages in SE London and paid £60 for the hour for someone trained. So tbh i think £30 for 45 mins would be fair if she’s only just trained

I am a massage therapist in The south and I would charge £50 per hour for mobile work, which I am told is very reasonable. Hope that helps.

If training I think the donation should be to cover travel and materials more than anything. You won’t be getting the lovely relaxing massage a trained therapist can give as she will possibly be stopping to read notes, I’m guessing you will have questionnaire to go through too as I’ve had that before with people training. £15 sounds reasonable to me
