Should I say something to nursery?

Last week, DS (2) had an accident at nursery. They have a teepee/tent in the room as part of the theme this month. The teepee fell over and the wooden bit hit him on the head. No blood, no bump, accident form filled in, all fine.

Yesterday I went to collect him and there were only 4/5 kids in the room, sat round one of the girls and reading a book. I sat behind him on the floor until he noticed me. His key worker did his handover whilst we were both sat down.

During this time, some kids had gone in the teepee and pushed the legs of it and it fell over again but hit me on the head this time.

It hurt. I mean, really really hurt, almost brought tears to my eyes. I laughed it off but the more I think of it, the worse I feel for DS, it must have really hurt him!!

It's clearly not safe and I wouldn't want this happening to another kid. Should I say something??

Yes I would. You are in a position to tell the staff just how painful it is. A two year old is not.

Yes definitely say something. Poor thing, hope your head is ok today!

Yes of course

Yes! It's not a suitable piece of equipment at all!
