It seems like everybody around me has one except for me. I’ve got School Mum friends but they’ve all got another “special” mate. I don’t. I’m starting to think there’s something wrong with me! I just can’t seem to find that special mate person. The one who pops round on the morning of your birthday. I get invited to nights out through my kids school friends mums and I’ve got lots going on but there’s that special close friendship missing from my life. How do I find that? I’m rarely at home so I’m getting out and about but I just can’t seem to make that connection with anyone. Has everyone in the world got a BF except me and how do I go about making one?

No idea how you get one - I don't have one either!

My oldest BF from school days, we were joined at the hip. We now have nothing in common but our youth. She is like family and will continue our friendship until the end. I have many life long friends actually. I don't have any school gates mum friends, just not gelled or been bothered too. I have had a few through my son's hobby. I like to keep my circle small and be cautious. Some of these mums at my son's school gates are nothing but social climbers who I would not trust.
