TTC, wierd symptoms. Posting for traffic to avert panic

Right, we're on cycle three of TTC after having coil removed. Had an emergency section for our first two years ago.

I have a very strange 'pulling' sensation in my lower abdomen. It's almost like the feeling of twisting leather- almost crunchy. I can feel it more when I bend over. Definitely not imagining it.

My period is due in three days. I POAS and it was negative.

What on Earth is going on?

I'm TTC too, and from what I've read, getting a negative at this stage doesn't necessarily mean you aren't pregnant. Test again on the day AF is due, maybe?

Good luck!

Oh I plan to.

This just feels very, very strange. Nothing like a normal period and nothing like my first pregnancy. No bleeding either.

Was just wondering if anyone else had this?

I had a pulling sensation when I got pregnant with my second. But it didn't last all that long, more of a long tug or two. I know this isn't what you want to hear but symptoms are impossible to spot, often they're exactly the same as period symptoms.

Try another test when your period is actually late, I'm crossing all my fingers for you!

I found when TTC I would start paying attention to anything and everything.

I burped - MUST be pregnant! I fancy cheese. MUST be a craving!

Truth is, you could be pregnant as you're trying, but you may also not be. It's only your 3rd cycle of trying. Try and relax, distract yourself and wait until your period is late. Early testing is really not recommended.

Good luck!

Symptom spotting is a new level of madness.

Thing is, I had a very fast emergency section last time and I have convinced myself that it left me unable to carry to term. It's frightening.
