So we moved 6 months ago to a better area, nice house with garden etc. Which means we were further away from my bil who were also looking to move to a better area.
Anyways while I've been in the new house I've got chatting to a couple a few houses away and they mentioned they were looking to sell. So naively I've mentioned this to dh in passing.
So You can guess what's happened. Dh has told bil who have not only seen the house, offered and it's been accepted. I feel a pit in my stomach like a sickly feeling.
The background is we've had issues but as we were living further from then it didn't matter so much and we werent overly invested in each other.
Now they're coming nearer I feel like it will change the dynamics of the relationships and they'll be on my doorstep alot more.
Aibu to not want them here but there's nothing I can do arghhh
