To think he acted like an arsehole?

Backstory.. I have been with dp so 3 and half years. We live together with our baby and my 6 year old son.
Myself and partner we're sat on sofa chilling (baby napping) before the 6 year is due to come back from his dads this afternoon. He usually comes back between 5 and 6pm. I'm on my period at the moment and (TMI!!) I have very very heavy periods. I suddenly felt a huge gush and I had leaked absolutely everywhere. I said to my dp 'Oh my god I've leaked everywhere I'm going to have to go sort myself out and have a shower quickly. If jack (not real name) comes back can you greet him at door and what not.'
He rolled his eyes, sighed and said 'right whatever go have a shower then. I'll just have to do it again. I'm sick of answering the door to him (son's dad).' Baring in mind he's done it twice in past 3 years. Once when i was in hospital and once when i was just coming out the shower.
I always do all the handovers with Jack's dad it's just been these few times.
Aibu to think he's really out of order for how he reacted? I was literally dripping with blood!! Anyway he didnt have to do handover as hes not even back yet!! And i was only 5 minutes.
I've told him not to talk to me now. I said its disgusting how he reacted.

He really does sound like a man child. Does he often get on like this?

Emptyspacex · 23/06/2019 17:40

Oh and just adding Dp and sons dad have no history and do not hate eachother. If they see eachother they will both simply do a quick 'alright mate'.

I did and he just kind of huffed and puffed about it. He's apologised twice now. Suppose I'll just have to get over it.

He was being a twat for sure. Hope you’re ok, your periods sound rotten Flowers
